Keira and her husband Michael were pregnant with their third child this spring. Naturally, we decided to get some maternity photos that would remind her of that final trimester season before she gave birth. Keira was not afraid to get a little creative and play around in the (sometimes prickly) grass.

She carried herself with what seemed like an effortless elegance and grace, looking comfortable in her body and her energy. We played around with shadows, props, and different florals - all while making it work in some intense evening sunlight. I LOVE how these photographs turned out, how they feel so whimsical, present, and powerful. Ah!
