Urban Bridal Portraits - Workshop at Le Studio YEG
Oh my goodness!
I am soo excited to share some of my favourite photographs from this glam bridal session.
Earlier this year, I invested in a photography workshop I just KNEW was gonna hit hard.
Le Studio YEG, a photography studio here in Edmonton, was hosting their first workshop and the focus was on stunning dresses, luxurious floral arrangements, even more stunning models to photograph. The workshop featured a ton of creatives coming together to make it happen.
I’d never invested in a workshop before, and I needed something creative and full of freedom to be excited about.
Lemme tell you, this did not disappoint!
Over multiple hours of shooting, I met a bunch of other photographers, learned some new tricks, played around with my flash and some other props, and got to hang out with some inspiring creatives and artists within my community. Win!
Below is a short gallery of some of my favourite photographs from this session. Models Balat and Kierah, wear dresses from Novell Bridal, located on 124th street in Edmonton Alberta. The two dresses bring different energies to the photographs. Balat wears a beautiful, long draping gown that oozes sophistication.
Kierah’s dress is a short, sparkly, off the shoulder dress - perfect for a the modern bride having a fun laid-back elopement or as a reception dress.
Candace Hills, owner and florist of Fairy Dell Creek Co, created the stunning floral arrangements pictured including both ladies’ bouquets, and the magnificent floral tree. She really does incredible work, and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for florals for their wedding and other special occasions.
